Joy is a highly experienced hairdresser, educator, assessor, and Film & TV Hair and Makeup Artist, with over 35 years’ experience in the hair and beauty industry. She has worked with some of London’s leading Further Education colleges and universities, and has delivered specialist training for broadcasters and production companies.
Alongside her education and assessment work, Joy has transitioned into on-set work as a Hair and Makeup Artist, most recently joining the main team on The Rapture.
She is also the Director and Founder of a specialist Afro hair training academy, bringing extensive expertise in textured hair. Joy is keen to take on more production work in Wales and the surrounding areas.
