Iris is level 5 qualified in makeup, prosthetics, wigs, hair and trained at London College of Fashion. She has a range of experience in TV and film, theatre, and fashion photography. As a trainee artist for the BBC, she has worked on Eastenders, Holby City and Silent Witness, focussing on makeup, wigs, and prosthetics. Over the past year she has increased her experience further, working on feature films and TV shows with highly regarded British actors including Stephen Graham and Jason Flyming in Boiling Point (2022) and season 5 of FX Better Things. Iris has also designed makeup and hair for W4 films, applying makeup and hair for key actors, such as Stephanie Beacham, Harry Kirton, Eloise Smyth and more.
On indie films and various other productions, Iris has designed looks and worked as an artist. She has experience of fast paced theatre, fashion shows, adverts, and editorials. In fashion, she is a regular Makeup Designer for Bleaq Fashion Catwalk shows. She has also designed and applied looks for editorial shoots.
Iris is a great collaborator and is able to design and meet any brief set for her. She works well under pressure and can deliver in short time frames.
