Elena is a highly experienced film and TV hair and makeup artist with more than a decade in the industry. She trained at ‘The London School of Beauty and Makeup’ and has since gone on to gain accreditation in prosthetics, setting and dressing for long hair in period styles, barbering and male grooming.
Elena’s first feature film was 2008’s ‘Franklyn’ and she went on to work on the sets of Indian romantic comedy ‘Jhoota Hi Sahi’, ‘The Rapture’ and Norwegian drama ‘Limbo’, all released in 2010, demonstrating her experience in working with diverse casts and international actors. Her work in editorial landed her a front cover image of Attitude magazine with boxer Nicola Adams MBE. She has also worked with many celebrities such as André Holland, Dina Asher Smith, Nina Conti, Tinie Tempah, Miley Cyrus, Martin Scorsese and Mark Wahlberg to name but a few, and her key skills include hairstyling, makeup, male grooming, braiding and airbrushing.
