Dumebi has worked on a range of TV and feature film productions since 2014 and has quickly built her reputation in the industry to become a well-respected Hair and Makeup Designer. She started out on TV movie The Method of Love. The following year she worked on Cinderella, starring Lily James and Cate Blanchett. She was then a part of the live screen adaptation of Peter Pan with Hugh Jackman and Amanda Seyfried.
After returning back to television over the following few years, Dumebi moved into a Hair and Makeup Artist role on Cats, the musical. In 2020 she worked on every episode of Steve McQueen’s ground-breaking drama Small Axe featuring some of the most revered acting talent in the UK including John Boyega, Micheal Ward, Shaun Parkes and Malachi Kirby. More recently, Dumebi has worked on a number of successful TV and film productions including Black Ops, Wonka, Barbie and the highly anticipated Supacell and Queenie, both releasing later this year. She has long standing relationship with Letitia Wright who she was personal Makeup Artist to at the BAFTA Awards 2016 and the Jamieson Empire Awards 2016. She continued to work with Letitia on Small Axe, I Am Danielle, Death on the Nile and Silent Twins. Dumebi has worked with people of colour all her career and specialises in darker skin tones and Afro hair.
