Amrita Mudan is a Midlands-based hair, makeup, barber, and prosthetics artist with over four years of experience working in high-end television and film, alongside an additional eight years of experience across music, fashion, commercials, and short films. Her work spans hair across all textures, character, and technical makeup, with particular strengths in realism prosthetic application, skin painting, and beauty makeup for all skin
tones. She has worked on HETV productions for the BBC, ITV, Amazon Prime, and Netflix, as well as designing hair and makeup for award-winning short films that have screened at BAFTA and Oscar-qualifying festivals, including Venice, BFI, and Santa Barbara. Passionate about working across diverse skin tones and hair types, Amrita is committed to collaborating within inclusive crews, supporting stories that reflect a wide range of lived experiences. Amrita is a BAFTA Connect member and a visiting lecturer at the University of Birmingham. She is also a licensed facial therapist and an oncology-trained skin specialist, bringing a considered, skin-first approach to all her work.
